Janis Siegel
10-time Grammy winner and 18-time nominee, Janis Siegel, has been an undeniable force as The Manhattan Transfer’s founding voice, where she led classics like “Birdland”, “Twilight Zone” and “The Boy from N.Y.C.” Her solo career has spawned almost a dozen albums and numerous collaborative projects, earning her acclaim as both a singer and arranger in the international circuit.
These days, you can find Janis in the place she loves most, the studio, producing various ventures for other artists and singing on a diverse array of projects, touring with her trio or in duo collaboration, teaching at NYU and other universities, and joining forces with alto Lauren Kinhan from New York Voices in a bi-monthly live music event entitled VOCAL GUMBO.
Yusuf Gandhi
An industry veteran, Yusuf Gandhi has been working in the music business for more than 50 years. He is the founder and President of Four Quarters Entertainment, Inc., where played a key role in the development of many international artists including Mariza, Sara Tavares, and (most recently) Carminho, and produced more than 100 recordings of artists ranging from Chucho Valdes, Eva Ayllon, and including the Grammy nominated ground-breaking album, Miles From India.
Yusuf Gandhi is recognized for his world music, R&B, and jazz expertise having participated on countless juries, panels, and showcases at festivals, conferences, and music EXPOs across the globe.
